Conant Gallery at Lawrence Academy presents two contemporary artists who reference the figure. Joan Hanley, tender paintings of life with technology, and Humberto Ramirez ‘Silhouettes’ exploring cultural icons by reducing images to their bare elements in the creation of signs. The contrast of these two approaches results in a fantastic exhibition.
