“A Community of Characters – Celebrating the Children’s Book
Art of Brian Lies”
Caldecott Honoree author/illustrator Brian Lies debuts his first local exhibit of original picture book art at Helen Bumpus Gallery, located on the main floor of Duxbury Free Library. The exhibit marks the first time his art is available for purchase by the public. In addition to the artwork, the exhibit offers a medley of family-friendly programs: a theme-based scavenger hunt, outdoor storybook walk, and special story times.
On Saturday, May 4th at 10:00 am, the exhibit’s opening celebration helps kick off Duxbury Community Collaborative’s “Out to See Duxbury,” a day of family-friendly activities throughout town.
