“Living with Sculpture: Presence and Power in Europe, 1400– 1750,” contributes to the field’s understanding of sculpture in early modern daily life in Europe. In particular, the role of sculpture as a commemorative and connective tool has become evident in debates about monuments and cultural patrimony.
June 8 – November 3, 2025 “From the Field: Tracing Foodways through Art” explores the idea of food as not only nourishment but also an expression of our lived and shared experiences.
“Mapping: Decolonial Cartographies of Place” examines the legacies of mapmaking and invites viewers to think about alternatives for visualizing our relationships to place. It considers how maps can be used not in the interests of surveillance or dispossession but as a means of placemaking. Free and open to all.
