Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA) announces its exhibition, The Horseshoe crab: Against All Odds, at the Plymouth Center for the Arts in Plymouth, MA from June
12, 2024 through July 7, 2024. Works in a variety of media are welcome including fine art, photography, printmaking, glass, ceramics, textile, sculpture, jewelry, etc. Artists are encouraged to create works that explore the beauty of these ancient creatures, their ecological importance and threats they face. Approximately 30 works will be shown. Application deadline: April 15, 2024. Applicant notification: by May 15, 2024.

The Award-Winning Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire, announces a Call for Entry to a juried art competition and exhibition featuring Printmaking. An artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from
a plate, block or screen onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Techniques include monoprints, relief (linoleum or woodcut), collagraph, screen printing, intaglio, lithography, serigraphs and more.

NEWPORT ART MUSEUM NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024 ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM
The Artist in Residence/Newport, (AiR/Newport) program is designed to encourage the creative, intellectual, and personal growth of emerging to established visual artists and designers by giving them the time, space, and solitude needed to create, apart from the daily demands of production and deadlines.
Residency Length: 1 month (April, June, and October of 2024) Number of Artists / Designers accepted: 3 (1 per month)
• Eligibility: Open to emerging and established artists
• Open to artists in the United States
• Application Deadline: December 8, 2023, by 5:00 pm EST
• Notification of Acceptance: January 16, 2024
• What we provide: Private housing in a newly renovated studio apartment with a kitchen and bath
