The 2022 Contemporary | Abstract Exhibition And Jazzscapes by Abstract4

The Award-Winning Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire, presents: The 2022 Contemporary | Abstract Exhibition and Jazzscapes by Abstract4

Every year artists from all over the country participate in the Contemporary and Abstract exhibition. Resulting in a creative mix of seacoast favorites and artists never seen in the New England area and this year is no different.
A special showcase this year at the Art Center
Jazzscapes by Abstract4. Tom Glover, Peter Cady, Dustan Knight and Barbara Adams, 4 Contemporary artists create “Jazzscapes” specially for this exhibit. Jazzscapes is inspired by jazz festivals that Abstract4 attended together over the summer; each piece is their own interpretation of jazz music.
The Exhibition opens on November 7 and runs through December with an Artists’ Reception on December 10th, from 6-9 p.m., during the Art Center’s “Celebrations of the Arts”.

The Award-Winning Art Center in Dover, New Hampshire, announces a Call for Entry to a juried art competition and exhibition featuringPrintmaking. An artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from a plate, block or screen onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Techniques include monoprints, relief (linoleum or woodcut), collagraph, screen printing, intaglio, lithography, serigraphs and more.
