Your work could be artscope’s next CENTERFOLD.
Work by established and emerging artists welcome. For the July/August 2014 issue we will be accepting submissions on the theme of ABSTRACT. Please send up to three images and your statement with contact information to: centerfold@artscopemagazine.com, no later than April 15, 2014.
No resumes please. Please send low resolution images for review. High resolution images must be available to be reproduced up to 9” x 12” dependent on your work selected. The centerfold will be selected based on visual and/or conceptual quality, by a panel of one Artscope staff and two arts professionals.
Artist’s Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Fund
Grants available in painting, sculpture, printmaking, or mixed media to midcareer artists with financial need in New England and Columbia and Northeast Dutchess counties, NY.
Non-profit organizations wishing to show, commission, or purchase work by mature artists living in New England may also apply.
Grants range from $2,000 to $10,000.

New Art Center
Call to Artists and Curators
The New Art Center in Newton is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 season. The Curatorial Opportunity Program (COP) is an open call for group exhibition proposals in the New Art Center’s 2,000 square foot gallery. The COP investigates contemporary culture through the visual arts and makes possible diverse curatorial visions in a non-profit alternative exhibition space. Curators of selected exhibitions receive a $1,000 stipend and administrative, promotional and technical support.
