Interested in pursuing a career in journalism, magazine design, writing, marketing and sales or publishing? Join us as an intern to explore local art scenes, create ad layouts, learn about the media business, and take part in all aspects of the magazine from creation to final production through organic entrepreneurial approaches in a creative environment. Internship programs are designed to develop you for career paths and to apply for academic credit.

Presents timely cultural reviews and events, reaches and connects the art audience through multi-media platforms while informing. The suite of products includes the arts and culture bimonthly publication, biweekly online eblasts! and website and are accessible through the digital and mobile platforms.

Writers, designers, interns and other staff who have worked at Artscope have gone on to work and be published at organizations the likes of Huffington Post, NPR, Boston Globe, Washington Post, Art News online; have had books published and more.

Internship requirements:
A willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude. Internship paths include editorial, publishing, design, technology, and cross-functional approaches. No previous experience is required.

A passion for the arts and experience is a must; writers are expected to view exhibitions, and area open studios to follow the development of local artists and to discover new ones. Our writers are expected to contribute a selection of story ideas each issue.
