The Concord Art Association’s 13th Annual Frances N. Roddy Open Competition Exhibition, which features work of New England artists in a variety of media and techniques, including painting, printmaking, photography, fiber arts and drawing, opens this Thursday, September 13 with a reception from 6-8 p.m.

Jen Mergel, Beal Family Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, juried the show. “It is so exciting that the Concord Art Association is attracting such a range of practitioners in all media to their exhibition program,” Mergel said. “Clearly, there are great talents across disciplines who can find a supportive resource in CAA.”

The exhibition continues through October 14. The Concord Art Association Gallery, located at 37 Lexington Road in Concord, Mass., is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call (978) 369-2578.
