“Kimono Couture: The Beautyof Chiso” showcases the world of traditional kimono design and artistry still practiced by Chiso, the 465-year-old, Kyoto- based kimono house in a virtual exhibition with a new kimono theme to explore each week.

“The Kimono in Print: 300 Years
of Japanese Design” examines
the kimono as a major source of inspiration and experimentation from 1603 – 1912 in Japanese print culture. Central to the show is the contemporary “Worcester Wedding Kimono” created by Chiso, the Kyoto-based kimono house.
Hours: Admission is by timed entry and advance ticket only. Wed., 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.; Thur.-Sun., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Third Thur., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Members only: Wed. 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
