“The Museum of the Old Colony: An Art Installation by Pablo Delano”

A conceptual, site-specific, and continually evolving project, Pablo Delano’s “The Museum of the Old Colony” confronts the complex legacies of U.S. colonial rule in Puerto Rico by re-contextualizing appropriated archival photographs, objects, and newsreels. Unlike conventional exhibitions, the installation functions as a single immersive work of art.
