The “Smiling Out Loud” exhibition

reflects DaNice D. Marshall’s

view that a warm human

connection is made when we

smile: “A familiar thread, a

reminder that we are more alike

than we are different. My hope

is that my art makes the viewer

smile, just a little bit, at least on

the inside.”
