Kaveh and the team at Artscope Magazine provide arts organizations like 3Rivers Arts with
a powerful partnership in promoting our artists and offerings. Through inclusion in e-mail
blasts and social media, visibility on the Artscope website, and advertising in the
magazine, we have expanded our reach as a new regional arts organization and were able
to sell out our first gala fundraiser. Kaveh continually presents new creative solutions
to help us spread the word about 3Rivers Arts, and his enthusiasm makes him a joy to
work with!

I've had total strangers approach me to say they've read about me in Artscope Magazine.
I'm so thankful for the day Brian Goslow just happened to discover me (and my paintings)
at South End Open Studios in 2008. Since then, I've had my work in Capsule Previews,
a passionate feature story about me (by Brian) in the Fifth Anniversary Edition,
and I've appeared in the Centerfold. This has helped increase sales of my work and done
much for me professionally, so I'm grateful. But getting to know Brian, J. Fatima Martins
and Kaveh Mojtabai at Artscope has been more than just professionally beneficial.
It has enriched my life.

Brian Goslow's Welcome Statement in the May June issue of Artscope really
hit home regarding the the dualistic state of affairs of the Arts,
especially in New England. On the one hand, abstract, performance, new media
and video are currently in vogue and are certainly in the SOWA galleries. Of
course traditional fine painting, drawing, photography, film, and sculptural
arts are highly valued still, and are on view in the Boston/Cambridge
museums and on Newbury Street. The issue for the practicing artist is
difficult indeed. How to survive in a brutal economy? Paint a portrait or an
abstract? Show a nude or pile up stones? Sell, or work in solitude? Thank
you Artscope for this frank and challenging statement and for keeping us
apprised of current work in our art world, be it Old Master or avant-garde.

It has been a pleasure working with Kaveh Mojtabai and artscope magazine over the past two years. We are thrilled to have artscope as a supporter of our Annual Art Auction which attracts over 600 attendees every year. Additionally, we advertise our Bakalar & Paine Galleries Exhibitions as well as our Professional and Continuing Education classes in the magazine. Approximately 8,000 people visit the Galleries every year.
